This philosophy is not one that is shared by many AAA developers. Ubisoft’s open-world hacking game Watch Dogs has nine different editions coming out on May 27, which cost anything from $60 for the standard edition to $120 for the Dedsec Edition. For those who have not played Final Fantasy X, the story revolves around a fictional world of Spira. The hero, Tidus, a renowned blitzball player (an underwater rugby/soccer like game), is taken to the world of Spira by an enormous creature named Sin. Tidus must now figure out a way to get back home. The only problem is, when he arrives in Spira, he is told that his homeland of Zanarkand was destroyed 1,000 years ago....

The first game exploded in popularity from a series of Let’s Play videos back in August, and barely two weeks ago a sequel was unveiled alongside a tantalizing new trailer. Since it came from an indie developer, the sequel had to go through the Steam Greenlight process once again despite the first game being such a hit.
