Brasilia - Brazil’s sports minister Aldo Rebelo has rejected claims that stadiums built for next year’s FIFA World Cup are in danger of becoming “white elephants”. Speaking during a federal sports and tourism commission hearing in Brasilia on Wednesday, Rebelo defended Brazil’s decision to build or rebuild 12 stadiums for the month-long tournament, Xinhua reports. “Brazil is going through a modernisation process of our football,” Rebelo said. “Some people have asked how we can justify building these new stadiums in cities like Manaus and Cuiaba....

Luckily, this year’s E3 looks to be jam-packed, with several publishers even going the extra mile of planning their own standalone press conferences in addition to their regular show floor presence. Square Enix, for example, has taken the normal Nintendo Tuesday time slot for its own press conference. What is unfortunate though, is that although the Final Fantasy series does well in the West, due to its nature some games in the franchise are released exclusively in Japan and without localisation or relevant marketing outside of the territory, fans in English speaking countries miss out. Final Fantasy Type-0 is one such game but after enjoying a fair amount of sales as a PSP-only title since 2011 (the game has reportedly sold 800,000 copies), Square Enix has now announced that the game will be coming to PS4 and Xbox One in the West later this year....
